As part of a Six Sigma team activity aimed at reducing cost and increasing water conservation, Berkshire worked with our DI water solution provider to develop and install a water recovery system. By installing this system in 2006, Berkshire is now recovering 75% of all concentrate water from the RO make-up system and has reduced both water usage and waste water impact by approximately 1,800,000 gallons per year.
